As an active Christian Psychologist for the past 30+ years, I must say, that once the year 2000 came around, I have experienced more "basket cases" than ever before. Both my Son Skip and I have been involved in spiritual warfare deliverance, and for the past 4+ years have noticed a rise in demonic activity among Christians and non-believers. (the end is near)
It's getting harder to distinguish between failing bodies and minds because the enemy of our souls knows his time is short and is trapping as many souls as he can, or the effect of Adamic sin as we approach 7,000 years is crippling God's Children in mind and body. There are diseases today that I never heard of 25 years ago.
I'm not the only Psychologist who has a duel role of spiritual warfare and classic psychology. A decision between the two is getting harder and harder to distinguish. I say the preceding to inform you, my friends, of the need to find a solution whereas God the Holy Spirit can be released from our ignorance (God says "My people perish because of lack of knowledge) to supernaturally heal those who cry out to our Heavenly Father, "Help Lord, I'm hurting".
Man's Trouble.
Anxiety - Depression - Social Awkwardness - Childhood Abuse Recovery - Bad Marriage - Cancer - Discouragement - Bi Polar - ADHD and so on. This is just a partial list of what invades our circle of influence.
Man's Example.
Hebrews 5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;
I was taught that for every negative, search for a positive. Good psychology huh?
1Peter 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
2:22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
2:23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:
2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
Man's Remedy.
Psalm 50:14 Offer (sacrifice) unto God (Elohim) thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High (If you promise to do something for God, DO IT).
50:15 And call upon Me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and (Most important) thou shalt glorify Me.
1Peter 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
4:13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
