I love the sound of the 80's songs, could help me find Christian songs that are made in the 80's, I really can't find many.. If you've know some, please link :-)

Well, just do a search for anything by Amy Grant, Michael W Smith, Carmen, etc...

In my opinion it was a rather lack-luster time for Contemporary Christian music. Even into the early 90's, even though you can find groups like DC talk.
 
Charlie Daniels became a Christian at some point (he seems pretty outspoken about it), and actually released a couple Christian albums in the '90s. But that's a different genre, country-style type rock. The style doesn't appeal to me too much anymore. He's really direct and to the point in his lyrics, though. :)

I think I also saw on YouTube where he was singing "Awesome God", and it said it was from '89 or something.

In any case, the Country style does have as a general historical background more of a Christian overtone than, say, some of the more urban based secular rock bands.
