Help with Christian clothes. Thongs or No THongs?

Hi im a newly saved college student. I used to wear sexy clothes and have since thrown them out. I wanted to know if sexy underwear like thongs, g-strings, ect was okay to wear? Should it not be worn or is it okay to wear such garments under my clothes. Im 20 yrs old and all my friends wear them also. I personally think that feeling sexy when i wear it can lead to sin. what does anyone else think.

Um, I'm a guy, so I'll keep my remarks limited. It's more or less your call. However, know that you are responsible for living a life of purity any way you can. If wearing them still cause impure thoughts for you, or for someone else, perhaps that tells you something.

I think that the only reason anyone should ever wear a thong is if the pants/dress they are wearing might show underwear lines (nearly as umcomfortable to see as a skimpy cut outfit). I say this because for Prom my senior year, any kind of underwear i tried still showed, and had to opt for a thong so as to not go...well, you know! If you do wear a thong, never, never, NEVER let it show above your pants! That is just sick and wrong and very distracting to anyone with a Y chromosome!! ;-)

Don't worry, I don't see how it could be a problem unless it's causing a problem for you.

That kind of stuff is a private matter. If you are not married you should never share what kind of undergarments you wear with others. It is too personal of a matter. Being married, that is between you and your husband ONLY. Again, it is a PRIVATE matter.

Why would you tell anyone of the kind of underwear you are wearing anyway? :o And, why would you want to tell anyone, especially the opposite sex? :o
Mentioning that kind of stuff to the opposite sex is NOT decent, it is provoking them to lust. And, that is NOT the thing to do to someone you are NOT married to. Teasing the opposite sex is only asking for trouble!

Besides, who the heck wants a wedgy during the whole course of wearing underwear, anyway? ICK! GROSS! :-?

You should wear clothes that make you feel comfortable so long as you dont try to seduce someone or profane the lord's name. Orginally we did not have clothes, but since our ancestors were ejected out of the garden, we were exposed to the elements and thus needed clothing. you should wear clothes that you feel is necessaary and appropriate and comfortable, this is my advice.
