I'm a Baptist myself as far as doctrines go, but I think I prefer to affiliate with non-denominational because I feel like there can be too much division over the disagreements between the denominations.
What kind of problems are you having getting to those areas? I know that some areas are restricted until your posts are initially approved, that might be all it is.

PS: questdriven: Even if you have strong, Scriptural reasons for switching local churches, like you've mentioned the possibility of doing, don't be surprised if some folk criticize you. We ought to be able to take criticism in pursuit of our convictions, but anyway.
