My name is Johann, and I’m currently seeking an online space where I can fellowship freely, without fear of being persecuted for saying the wrong thing or expressing differing views.

I’ve noticed that some members here are familiar from other sites.

To be completely honest, I’ve been banned from six online forums so far, usually due to disagreements with administrators and moderators.

I’m a work in progress, and my passion is studying the Scriptures in Koine Greek and Hebrew.

1. read Romans 14 and take to heart what it means about judging anothers servant. I say this because I've encounter ' experts' in greek and hebrew and they come across as being the only person who understands scripture.

If that is not you, I apologise.

2. be prepared to agree to disagree.

I’m also quite familiar with the book of Romans.

That’s great. I read the book of Romans with this phrase in mind…

The obedience of faith.

But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:
Romans 16:26 KJV

In the first chapter it reads…

By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:
Romans 1:5

The rendering in Romans 1 seems to be an another facet of te same principal.


Phrases such as -

The righteousness of God through faith
Justified by faith
The law of faith
Walking according to the Spirit.
(do not) Obey the truth.
by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body
Led by the Spirit.
Obey the Gospel

and more all are connected to this principal called the obedience of faith.


To me the entire book of Romans showcases this law (principle) of faith; the obedience of faith which contextually frames the entire book of Romans.
