Hi everyone....
Im not really sure how to start this, I am not Christian. I am a believer in God, although I have only attended church a few times in my life.

Im not really sure what I hope to gain by being here. Maybe a bit of guidance or to confirm my faith...Im just not sure.

My life has recently taken a turn for the worst and I am struggling to find a light. I believe that Faith can help me find the light so here I am; to talk, to listen and hopefully believe that I can be saved.

Sorry its all a bit of a jumble (I feel like im rambling!). So HELLLLOOOOOO everyone...I look forward to hopefully many interesting interactions!!!

Hi James,
My beliefs are evolving, but I think that is God's will... "Gospel" = "Good news" - which implies continual learning.

We need faith - we walk and live by faith - even if it is subconscious - we go along, thinking that life will go as we plan, and are only surprised when it doesn't.

To start, to find the light within you, think about times in your life when you felt the spirit, and so uplifted, inspired and loved.

Joh_3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God

Act_26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me

Rev_21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

Joh_14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

I felt a bit awkward at first as I've never really participated in forum discussions. But even with the half a dozen replies that I have had, I feel like I can get somewhere.

Generally, people are able to share their perspectives in respectful ways and be respected.
