Hi everyone. I'm a backslidden believer from just outside Belfast and I have decided I need encouragement to return to church etc. I know the word backslider will raise a few eyebrows, but I am sure I am the genuine sort. When I make a full post about this you will all be able to read my story. But for now, I will just introduce myself by saying that I was saved 10 years ago and let prayer slide and that was the beginning of a downward spiral. I have been away from church practically for near 5 years.
Outside of that, I am married with 2 children, a boy almost 2 and a girl 6 and a half. And trust me, if she hears you not saying the half , your in trouble.
Aside from my somber introduction and spiritual state, I am a good humoured sort and still have a keen interest in the bible and enjoy spiritual chats. I also have a keen interest in the cults as my grandmother is a Mormon . I initially started looking into Mormonism and it led to learning about Jw's also. I am pretty Good at chatting with members of these organisations and have a real desire to see them saved.
That's it really, I'm open minded and have a broad way of looking at things, however, when it comes to matters of scriptural importance, I believe the bible is gods last word to man and has the last say in all matters .
I'm sure I have left a lot out, but I'm sure after a few weeks on the forums you will be able to fill in the blanks
