No, not New York City; the other half, out with the cows and trees and corn. :shades
I was recommended here by a friend, and I thought I'd check the place out.
Guess I should start out with the "good Christian thing to do" (lol) and give my testimony, as well as a little background.
I was led to the Lord by my father at the age of 4 1/2 when he was reading me a Bible story of Chris's crucifixion. It wasn't the first time he'd read it, but that was the time that it "clicked" and I realized I was a sinner in need of a savior. I prayed with him that night and confessed Christ as my Lord and Savior, acknowledging my guilt and His forgiveness. I was baptized by immersion at 10 years old (on my birthday, coincidentally!). I'm a Baptist by conviction (not American Baptist or Southern Baptist, just plain old Baptist, lol. We're known as Regular Baptists here in the Northeast) and I'm a member of Portville Baptist Church where I serve as Head Usher, trustee, and Audiovisual Director. I'm single, 23 (24 in two weeks), and "in between jobs," working part-time in the mean time, and living with my folks (which presents its own unique challeges. . . :eyebrow ). But God's been faithful through it all, even when I haven't been.
Looking forward to contributing what I can and fellowshipping with believers of like faith.
