Thought I'd stop in, and have a "look-see". I have spent much of my time on CARM, and I have to say I am looking for more of the peace of God, rather than usually finding someone wanting to fight about anything they seemed to be able to dream up.

I think I was wearing myself down, and that was not what I was hoping for.

Pillow fights are fun, and can often be informative and enlightening. It was the guys sitting around, sharpening their sabers while awaiting the next chance to cut up someone that really got to me.

I guess I didn't fully understand what the term, "apologetics" meant to many people. I kind of thought it was showing reason and logic for holding to certain thinking, not going to war over treasured theologies and doctrines.

I looked over this site pretty well before registering, and what I saw seemed more like a family outing than it did a battleground. That was encouraging.
