My name is C. Hoffmann and I"m new here. I'm a 41 yr old male and here for fun and ministry. Praise the Lord!

Welcome C. Hoffmann to CF.net. I hope your fun is heartfelt, and your ministry truth. Blessings in Christ Jesus. :wave

You have chosen a most unusual username, C. Hoffman. Care to share the motivation behind the name? (I'm looking forward to reading your explanation :yes )

Welcome to CFnet .... I hope you enjoy your time in fellowship with us :wave

Thank you for the kind welcome. I am excited to participate here on CF dot Net and interested in learning insights from others perspectives. The choice of my username was one I gave some consideration.

Perhaps my username was because I think vanity, and the facade of self supposed or self proclaimed righteousness is common in today's society. I see Vanity all around with magazines, colored lights and makeup that could make any girl look like a queen (tummy tucks, face lifts, etc. etc...) along with self professed, self righteousness among people who esteem themselves as somehow better than others and others as less than etc. etc. I think that in society there is so much pressure for my little child to be something other than herself and I pray she can grow up to be her true self. These are just some thoughts on my mind that I simply have considered recently, thus the username.

Yours in Christ, Jesus! :wave

Thanks for the explanation, C. Hoffman ... and I so agree with your assessment of social wallowing in vanity. Raise your daughter with the full knowledge that she is beautiful, inside & out, because of the perfection of our Lord's love for her. Both of my daughters were raised with this attitude ... and they truly are beautiful young women ... but they focus on our Lord's love and disregard their own reflections as seen in a mirror.

I hope you settle in quickly here with everyone. If you have questions concerning our forums, you can post those questions in Questions for Staff, or you can send a message to me or one of the other moderators. We try to make CFnet a comfortable place to share in fellowship.

Blessings!

Yes, and thank you for asking me to express my intentions of using such a unique name.

I enjoy learning the reasonings/stories behind the usernames selected by folks here at CFnet, Sir Hoffman. And of course, I have a natural curiosity about ages of the little ones belonging to others, which of course leads to the question: How old is your daughter? :)

Blessings!

She is 3 1/2 yrs old and I was told I could not have children so I'm ever grateful for her. It's amazing how much I learn from her. We want more kids but might have to do adopt which is fine by me.

Blessings!

God bless you! :D

You are definitely blessed! And you're also so right in that it is amazing how much we learn from our young ones :yes

My prayers are with you & your family ... parenting today is so much more of a challenge today.

Blessings!
