Hi everybody! Just joined the forum. I'm a nature lover who writes books about birds, nature, and gardening.
Pretty excited about a new project I'm working on, and would love to hear what you think.
It's a new book that uses references in the Bible as a solid source of natural history. It includes quotes from Scripture about birds, and then explores how those references pertain to the habits and behavior of those birds in real life.
Many birds are mentioned in just a word or two, something that many readers may just pass right over. Yet there is meaning in even the slightest reference.
Seems to me that learning more about the birds that are mentioned will help people gain a deeper understanding of whatever point that particular Bible reference was making. Plus, it's just plain fun to share a love of birds
My other hope is that this book will be read by those who love birds, no matter what their religion, which may help others gain an increased respect for the Bible.
Thanks for listening A pleasure to meet you. Hope you are well and happy!
