So I'm in the early stages of drafting a Fiction novel. I've written many short stories, plays, etc in the past, and even wrote a novel in college. The Lord has led me to begin to develop stories to minister. Anyway, I'm in the early stages of writing a novel entitled Highway to Hell based off of Matthew 7:13-14. In the NLT version of the Bible verse 13 states that "the highway to hell is broad and its gate is wide for many who choose that way . . ." Basically the main character is on a path that will lead him straight to hell if he doesn't come to Christ. The book starts off with him shivering in the closet, naked, soak and wet with a 12-gage shotgun in his mouth. He simply asks, "How did I get to this point?"
As a child of God, I try not to sugarcoat life and the struggles of life. I have a "keep it real" approach when I share with others about Christ and what Christ has done for me. Anyway, I'm excited how the Lord is speaking to my heart instructing me on what to do with my life and how to utilize my writing and video production talent to minister to the world. Praise God!
