Growth His seamless garment

Why was Jesus’ garment seamless in one continual piece?
It is because he is the eternal Word that has been from the beginning and there will be no end. For God’s Word will always be the same yesterday, today and forever for he never changes.

John 19:23 Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also his coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout.
KJV

1 John 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
2(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
KJV

Well said faithful one...Jesus wore one garment, but it was a good one, without seam...it is possible to weave or knit clothes in situ, but it's rare or difficult to do...
such garments are comfortable to wear, and long lasting.

De 22:11 Thou shalt not wear a garment of divers sorts, as of woollen and linen together.

This is a strange verse telling us to wear clothes made of one material, not to mix material technologies together, such as wool and cotton, or plastic and cotton. Why? Well the static electricity of the blend interferes with the electro-magnetic sensing of our skin, and changes its health.

The covering over us as sinners is a symbol of the restored garments of light we originally had....

Ps 104:2 Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment:

Imagine wearing a solid representation of God over your body, as white light,
but as your emotion's change, the colour changes and flashes to other colours like blue and purple and yellow and red. Such will be the colours of our covering
the original garments of GOD restored over our bodies.

So Jesus wore simple, rare and unique clothe, a symbol of his character and a physical covering sowing us what we have lost....

Shalom

I was blessed by that, thank you for sharing your bread with me.
We must be clothed the same, as you said, with the garment of praise in his image. And it makes sense that you say his coat is a coat of many colors, just like Joseph's coat of many colors that his father made for him, representing that Jesus will rule all nations of many colors in the garment His Father made for him as you described.
Also his one piece garment represents One Truth, One Faith, One Word that is eternal and can never be mixed. Only those who have washed their clothes and made them pure white by clothing themselves in the Word, having the Word in their mouth, shall attend the wedding.

Matt 22:9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.
10 So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.
11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:
12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
14 For many are called, but few are chosen. KJV
Are you Messianic?

Thanks FaithfulOne...for kind words...

Bless you as well,
Yes, I agree with this truth you have shown
Rom 11:15-17
15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?
16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.
17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;

God bless you FaithfulOne, truly we are all Hebrew, grafted into Jesus every day, just like Ruth...

Ru 1:16 And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:

Even Gentiles like me find hope in GOD and His love for the entire world
May God smile and continue His beams of love over you
Each day comes with renewed mercies
Each day a unique presentation of love and kindness
Shalom

Through Boaz birthed a child after she worked for him in the fields.
Our kinsmen Redeemer Boaz and Ruth whom birthed Obed whom OLD Naomi(Old Israel, the Woman) nursed as her own.
Ruth 4:13 So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the LORD gave her conception, and she bare a son.
14 And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed be the LORD, which hath not left thee this day without a kinsman, that his name may be famous in Israel.
15 And he shall be unto thee a restorer of thy life, and a nourisher of thine old age: for thy daughter in law, which loveth thee, which is better to thee than seven sons, hath born him.
16 And Naomi took the child, and laid it in her bosom, and became nurse unto it. KJV

Even Queen Esther's roots were hidden but she saved her people on the 14th and 15th of Adar (2014-2015 4 blood moons)
God's Word is so good!

One more thing about Ruth it shows the great falling away, where many Gentiles who were grafted in their Hebrew Roots in Christ, will return to their own people of the flesh as we are seeing today.
Ruth 1:12 Turn again, my daughters, go your way; for I am too old to have an husband. If I should say, I have hope, if I should have an husband also to night, and should also bear sons;
13 Would ye tarry for them till they were grown? would ye stay for them from having husbands? nay, my daughters; for it grieveth me much for your sakes that the hand of the LORD is gone out against me.
14 And they lifted up their voice, and wept again: and Orpah kissed her mother in law; but Ruth clave unto her.
15 And she said, Behold, thy sister in law is gone back unto her people, and unto her gods: return thou after thy sister in law.
16 And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:
17 Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.
KJV
Just wanted to ad that
