HOLY SPIRIT HOLY MUSIC

Two groups of people in the world: the seed of the woman (Christ, and believers through Christ) and the seed of the serpent (the unsaved).

15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Gen. 3:15.

29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. Gal. 3:29.

God created Adam trichotomous, or three-fold: body, soul, and human spirit - not Holy Spirit.
When Adam ate of the forbidden fruit he died 'in the day' he ate of it.
His soul didn't die for the soul is comprised of the mind/intellect, emotions, senses, conscience and will.
He didn't die physically 'in the day' he ate of it for he lived 930 years.
It was his human spirit that died. The human spirit is necessary to process spiritual phenomenon.
After he ate the communication between God and man changed.
Not only that but a human spirit could not be passed in the genes as man was created natural and beyond spiritual function in any way. So, from Adam and Eve all mankind is born dichotomous, or two-fold: body and soul.

When a person is born again God creates a new human spirit in the person and the person is restored to a three-fold existence, or trichotomy: body, soul, and human spirit.

24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Eph 4:24.

17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Cor. 5:17.

Writing to believers Paul states:

23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Thess. 5:22–23.

When unbelievers write and compose music their inspiration is from the soul and their music can only minister to the soul of unbelievers and believers alike for even believers have a soul.
When music is called of God (meaning those so-called of God to compose Christian/worship music for that is their calling and gift) if done under the anointing (authorized of God) it will minister to the human spirit in the believers. The Psalms are a perfect example of Christian/worship music.
The Chief Musician is Christ. And Christian music from Christian musicians must first be called of God to exercise their gift(s) to the benefit of the Body of Christ. Anyone who is not called of God to author Christian music for the Christian and does so is not blessing the Body but harming it. A musician in the world who becomes saved and just because he knows music and is not called to this ministry is in disobedience, outside their calling, and is a danger to the Body of Christ.

For those Christians who love to listen to secular music and think there's no harm being done, think again.
For those Christians who are listening to "Christian" music from those not called to that ministry by God there is danger in this 'entertainment.'

There is also something taking place in Christendom that I like to call "double-dealing," and the dealer is the enemy. This is where churches and Christian music ministries take a worldly song, change the words to reflect 'Christian' words and bring it into our worship services for the brethren. This is a deception. And it harms the brethren.
True Christian music is Holy Spirit inspired and there's no one more suited to provide original music than the Holy Spirit Himself as He Authors music for the Chief Musician, Jesus Christ.
Let the Psalms guide you in your choice of music to listen to.

13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. Jn. 16:13–14.

7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Gal. 6:7.

If you sow to the soul, of the soul you shall reap.
If you sow to the (human) spirit, of the (human) spirit you shall reap.
