Holy Week Celebrations

I would love to know how you celebrate Holy Week.
Do you follow any Scriptural guidelines, such as observing Passover or communion? Do you decorate your home? What does your church do for Palm Sunday and Easter?

Do you hold fast to Christian observances, or do you also enjoy bunnies, eggs and candy?

Hi Gabby,

We will be observing Passover, and having family communion. My husband is preparing the Haggadah, and we are all very excited about the dinner and the teaching plate.

We are also spending some time with my Father over the weekend at his country home for a bar-b-que. My children love this because it is an opportunity to fish with grandpa, and ride four wheelers, and eat sweets. :wink:

Then, on Sunday we are attending a Ressurection Service and taking communion with our brothers and sisters.

So far this has been a beautiful Spring, and we feel so rich in Christ and full of worship. I am so thankful, gabby, that the Father loved us enough to send the Son...and that the Son was willing to die in our place. Praise God!
