Not here it is not. This is about Pope Francis, and by extension all Christianity, reaching out to Islam to 'coexist'.

I have read up on what the catholics teach

Islam based on commin ground with jews and hence christians is worshipping the same God.however,they do say because they missunderstand Jesus they are lost.

Same God,wrong adress.it's wierd but yes they teach it.

So because of that ,Abraham is revelant.as well islam says alot about him,Allah and their acts that are different

All peoples can co-exist in free nations if they respect everyone elses freedom, that people are not doing and also is crooked, and in islamic nations your only going to get discrimination because its sharia, you don't abide by sharia your not respected.

Is this just a pipe dream by Pope Francis or could Christianity (all of it) come to some agreement to coexist with Islam?

True Christianity cannot coexist, in a unified way, with any other faith.

If this pope is able to secure some sort of peace......reader beware. Time to open the eyes.

Christianity has always lived among people of other faiths, but only as a witness to the true God and true faith. There should be zero "ties" to another faith.

If the Pope thinks he can bring peace to a religion that clearly calls to not tolerate unbelievers he is dreaming. I give him credit for trying but every belief system stands with there belief and Islam is not compatable with any other way of life but there own. Fact.

Christians maybe not to get involved with immoral people and other gods but are not called to hate on any people but to pray for them.

The only peace in islam is if everyone bows down to Islam. The peace of Islam is only within itself, and even still its a religion bound in chains, step out of line and dont obey mohamud its 30 lashes, insult mohamud thats death, kind of like North Korea.

In order to avoid more deaths, the pope has to try. living at peace and being at peace with Islam is not just about honoring our Christian beliefs or sliding off of them under pressure. It's also about having a safe enviornment for the churches in Egypt. Caring for the people and winning the hearts of your enemies so they aren't aggressive towards your flock anymore.

I think there's harm in this approach that'll hurt what it means to be Christian. But what's the alternative? Tell all the Catholics and Christians to come out of Egypt? Maybe that is something we should encourage. But
I don't know.

Don't sell the pope short though. If God wills it, He can use the Pope to win souls away from Islam.

These Coptics hold and maintain the churches many of the Apostles and early disciples started...Like Mark, Luke, and Matthew....In the face of heavy persecution.

The Coptics aren't Catholic but they get along with them. The Pope's visit didn't help and likely won't. The place is in chaos at the moment trying to hang on to the Government. (Almost like Syria but not as bad)

It would be awesome one day to visit as part of an Early Church and Old Testament tour...But it's too much into Chaos currently. They have many artifacts stashed away from Solomon and other Kings of Israel.

Not exactly correct. Seen many Muslims ignoring prayers, eating bacon, and shaved faces. They aren't different than nominal Christians. Sure they have their strict adherents...But most are just "go along to get along"...Even in Jerusalem.

1. The Pope wants a one-world religion.
This is what he's after. He wants to get along with everyone, and I don't mean in a nice Christianly way like other Popes in modern times. He'd like to melt every religion into one. You'd have to read what he says. I get the info from my Catholic girlfriends. They're pretty upset over this too. I've read what he says on the internet and he does want some kind of just "getting along" with every religion. This is not possible. No other leader of any religion claimed to be God. Christianity is different from every other religion.
We do not seek God...But God seeks us.

2. Islam would win, not Chritianity.
You say some whackos are running the place. First of all, I believe that although not all Muslims are violent, most of them agree, in belief system, what the violent ones are doing...starting a jihad war. They secretly cheer when the West is shown to be the coward they perceive.

Second of all, just look at what these "whackos" are doing. Christians are being killed all over the globe. Christian churches are being bombed on a regular basis. Children are being used as human shields and trained to be human bombs. Chrisitans are beheaded, and worse, every day.

Are we becoming desensitized to all this? These whackos are going to take over unless we awaken and stop them somehow.

Already we have people afraid to go to London and Paris. Brussels is a mess. Syria no longer exists. Libya is not far behind. Iraq, Afghanistan, countries in Africa, Europe. Do you not see that we're being overrun?

We might also want to consider Hitler to have been a whacko, but look at the damage inflicted by him. The same is happening now with Jihadist Muslims.

It is my thinking as the above is correct, but I believe that GOD is still in his time and in all control, and in his time he will prove just that by what he have said in his word. And as far as Pure Religion as being a true christian is concerned, It is our belief to: I Thessalonians 4:1-18 shall come to pass. And as we search the scriptures together, being as one with the Lord.

French mayor has been found guilty of a thought crime in France for saying schools with 91% Muslim students are a "problem."

Maybe he was thinking there should be more diversity. I thought thats what its all about. Cultural enrichment.

Afghanistan, what nation has 26 languages and I'd unified. No such real nation,it's a created state.

Iran,similar, iraq ,and turkey as well though they had a unified leader to form it.attaturk

It won't happen. There is no way religions will give up there belief and unite in one religion, there are many religions. It just wont happen. The only thing they can they try do is bring peace between all religions.

Didn't the sikh bodyguards kill Indira Ghandi in retaliation for a goverment attack of some church/shrine? So, even they don't always get along.
