How come..?

..how come...after I post on other threads, no one posts after me? Like..ever? I come onto a forum site like this to connect with other people of like minds and to actually converse, and I am met with absolute silence. This is disappointing.

I can only think of several reasons why this might be the case. One, no else is on. But wait, that's not true, bcz I see the ones that posted before me on certain threads post after me repeatedly on other subjects. Or two, anything that I might have stated beforehand is something that people don't expect and don't have an answer to, or three..in a debate issue, no one responds to my thoughts, prob bcz they realize they can't give a reasonal rebuttal or refute me.

It's not just here, either. It's on other sites too. Slightly discouraging, I must say, and extremely disappointing.

Hi there!

I checked the dates of some of your posts and I think perhaps that you were a victim of the Great Software Update of 2009, wherein most, if not all, users were unable to access the board for about a week. A week is a long time to pick up a thread.

Anyway, don't get too discouraged. I think we've all felt like the black death of threads at times. One of these day's you're going to touch a nerve and then watch out.

If you really want to start a lively discussion, wander over to Current Events and say something nice about Obama.
