How did the love of God be shed into our hearts, by the Holy Ghost given to us ? ( Romans 5:5.)

Before this, and as testified, we were without strength. ( Romans 5:6.)

Christ died for the ungodly, who were without strength, to give the love of God, into our hearts by the Holy Ghost.

This delivered the ungodly from the law, which held the ungodly dead, to serve in newness of Spirit. ( Romans 7:6.)

It is known that in our flesh, ( of the ungodly) dwells no good thing, because how to perform that which is good, we do not find. ( Romans 7:18.)

Who shall deliver the wretched man ( the ungodly ) from the body of this death ? ( Romans 7:24.)

Jesus Christ makes us free ( delivers the ungodly.) from the law of sin and death. ( Romans 8:2. ) The law was weak through the flesh, ( when we were yet without strength, Christ died for the ungodly. Romans 5:6.) God sent HIs Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, to condemn sin in the flesh. ( Christ died for the ungodly, in the flesh. Romans 5:6.)

Romans 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

Romans 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

Romans 7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

Romans 7:24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

God commended HIs love towards us, ( the ungodly.) while we were sinners, ( Delivered from the law that held us dead. Romans 7:6. The Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made us free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:2.) Christ died for us.

Being justified by His blood, we are saved from wrath through Him. ( The law works wrath, where there is no law, there is no transgression. Romans 4:15.)

We were reconciled to God when we were enemies, by the death of His Son, to be saved by His life. ( We who were enemies in our mind by wicked works, are now reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present us holy and unblameable and unreproveable in His sight. Colossians 1:21-22.)

We also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have received the atonement. ( Romans 5:11.)

Romans 4:15 Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

Colossians 1:21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

Some people seem to be a little misunderstanding of Romans 7, or of 1 John 1.

We as told, were without strength, ( the ungodly) and we were freed from the law of transgression by Jesus Christ, dying for the ungodly, in the flesh. ( to condemn sin in the flesh. Romans 8:2-3.)

We will deceive ourselves if we say we have no sin, ( because Christ died for the ungodly who were in the law of transgression. Romans 4:15. Romans 5:6.)

If we confess our sins, Christ is faithful and just to forgive our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, if we say we have no sin we make Him a liar. ( Because Christ died for the ungodly, who were without strength, to set us free from the law of sin and death, and were there is no law, there is no transgression, only then.)

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

I know some of the things Apostle Paul says are a little hard to understand, that is why this may help to take away all misunderstandings on the forum. 2 Peter 3;15-16.)

Remembering that Christ died for the ungodly when we were yet without strength, Jesus teaches us ( the ungodly) in the Gospel, how to love our enemies. ( we were reconciled by Christ to God, when we were enemies in our mind/by wicked works. ( Romans 5:10. Colossians 1:21.)

We are blessed when men hate us, we rejoice in that day and leap for joy. ( we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. Romans 5:11.)

If we hear Christ, we love our enemies, ( this is belief that Christ commended HIs love towards us/died for us, while we were yet enemies. Romans 5:8-10.)

As we would that men should do to us, ( Christ, in the flesh, dying for us. Romans 8:3.) we do to them likewise. ( we love also. Romans 5:5-6.)

Christ did not love those who love Him, Christ commended His love towards us, while we were yet sinners/enemies He died for us. Romans 5:8-10.)

Christ did more than what sinners do, ( to love those who love them.) and loved His enemies, and did good to us, ( to die for us, His enemies, to reconcile us to God.) and His reward is great. ( Exalted and extolled, and be very high. Highly exalted, and given a name which is above every name. Isaiah 52:13. Philippians 2:9.)

This is the children of the Highest, who believe that Christ is the Son of God, being merciful as our Father was merciful to us.

At the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth,, every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. ( believing in the love of Christ, loving us, His enemies, who were sometimes alienated in our minds, by wicked works, and we loving our enemies when we believe we are reconciled to God by Jesus Christ, who loved us and died for us. Galatians 2:20.)

Luke 6:22 Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
23 Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.

Luke 6:27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,
28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
29 And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak forbid not to take thy coat also.

Luke 6:31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.
32 For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.
33 And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.
34 And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.
35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

Isaiah 52:13 Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high.

Philippians 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
