How do we know God is real?

I posted this last night or at least I thought I did. My apologies if this is in the wrong thread.

How do we know God is real? (Besides faith and the Bible telling us)

I have numerous reasons why I KNOW God to be real, prayers answered, prophecies fulfilled, the Bible telling us what foods is good and not good for our bodies, the fact that Job knew the earth sits on nothing, the Bible possibly mentioning dinosaurs(some scholars disagree) and many others.

I had been dealing with a guy that claims to be agnostic but I have reason to believe he is atheist, he explained away every single example I gave that God is real. God said to me "Search for me with all of your heart and you shall find me," in other words I believe God was telling me that unless that guy wants to search for him, no matter what I say, he will not believe.


I am asking the question, "How do you know God is real," for future instances. I don't plan to speak to the above guy again but want to have some reasons God is real the next time my path crosses with an agnostic or atheist.

Hi Joe, you can deleat this double post if you want? And Rom. 2:14-15 finds the Godheads Second Bible 'me' thinks too.
