or how are you this year? And...if you're older...how did you back in the day?

I'm fine.
I can't remember back in the day.
It was too long ago.
Ask Jethro Bodine.
He knows just about everything, maybe.

My church was going to have a cookout, but as it started raining and thundering about 20 minutes before it was supposed to start I'm assuming they're not having it now.
Fireworks could be rained out, too.

Filling balloons with oxy/acetylene gas from my welding torch and lighting them.

Now should anyone try this, start with very small balloons because the explosion is a lot more powerful than most people think. And make darn sure you don't have a leaky balloon where the gas will ignite when you bend down to light the fuse. It will damage you severely. But when done right they sure are fun. A toy balloon about 6" by 3" will shake the ground for you!

We used to have some little firecrackers you could throw at the ground...think we still do.

I cant be around the large fireworks, so I will shoot some images from across the river and video. if I cant handle that I will leave.

Well, this morning I got up, made breakfast, and headed out to rake a hay field. Then we celebrated our daughter's birthday with brats and ice cream cake. Yup, today is her birthday. Then I went out to bale up the hay that was ready. Just got done and took a shower.

Did you remember to put the cow in the barn?

No cows. Horses. They eat more.
