How do you prepare your Kraft Dinner? :D

Me i only cook 2/3 of the box so there is extra cheese to go around. I add 1/2 cup of butter,5-7 dashes of jalapeno sauce ,1 table spoon of pepper and a 2x4x1 piece of mozzarella cheese cut into thin slices.

Its like a spicy cheese fondue with noodles :-D

Spicey mac and cheese? I may have to try that. I just follow the directions on the box. :)

I like to add some Ragu spaghetti sauce after I've stirred in the cheese.

God Bless!

Oh our family has several ways we do KD:

Beenie Weenie Mac and Cheesy:
2 Boxes KD
2 cans Nally's Walla-Walla Onion Chili
Package Oscar Meyer All Beef Hot Dogs sliced into bite sizes
1 cup shredded Cheddar (to make REALLY the Cheesiest)

Fix according to box directions, boiling the hot dogs in the water for the KD. Add the chili and the extra cheese and heat until cheese is melted.

Then there is Spam and Cheese:
1 Box KD
1 Can Spam (I can only tolerate the "lite" kind)
1 green pepper
3 green onions

Slice Spam thin and fry it until crispy on the outside, cut up into bite size pieces. Saute peppers and onions. Fix KD according to box directions, mix it all together. One can add a cup of shredded cheddar to this as well.

Now those two receipes are for when mom is sick or out of town, or has had a very busy day and really doesn't want to cook. They're easy, the kids do the cooking.

When I am actually cooking, here is a receipe that uses KD, that is truly good:

2 boxes KD prepared according to directions
2 cups broccoli, diced and cooked in same water as KD
1 lb hamburger
1 T basil
1 t extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup onion diced
4-8 cloves garlic diced
1 cup sour cream
1 cup cheddar cheese

Cook the onion, garlic, basil and hamburger together. Drain any grease if your burger isn't lean. Mix the hamburger with the KD and broccoli. Add the sour cream and put into a 9x13" casserole pan. Add the cheddar cheese, cover and bake for about 30 minutes at about 325 (F). Don't know the conversions for you folks up north, so adjust accordingly.

This is NOT a low fat meal, so I don't serve it all that often, but it is very good with a side of salad and french bread.

OK I can't decide, do we go to Dora's to eat or John's? I'm leaning on Dora side, did you see those ingredients.....my kind of spicey! John's way, with the pepper/peppers this is what I'm going to look like. :onfire: Might as well go up in flames in the bathroom, this way the tubs right there to soak my bum in. Whewwwwwwwwww I can feel the heat now! Ouch!!!

I prepare it exactly as directed, but sometimes I shake some Parmesan in, or grate some old cheddar in there!

I remember way back in the 60's my Scottish neighbour used to make it with brown sugar mixed in. It was weird and wacky, but I was only a kid. How could I criticize my best friend's mom's cooking? LOL!
