Deuteronomy 6:5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
We talk a lot about loving the Lord, but how is this lived out in your own life? I mean, we talk a lot about faith sometimes as an object instead of an expression as I've heard it said, "You have to have faith in Jesus" just like I've heard, "I love Jesus".
These are great expressions, but I'd like to go beyond just using the words, I want to see how these words are lived out.
A biblical example might be found when Jesus asks Peter if he loves him, and Peter replies, "You know I love you" and Jesus responds, "Then feed my sheep". When Peter actually does this, which of course, is a continual work, then isn't Peter showing his love for Jesus by obeying his command?
I'd like to get your ideas on how "Loving the Lord with all your heart, soul and streangth" would be lived out.
Thanks!
