How do you rate your ability to love?

I can love....thank God. But it is very selective.
I think there are people who have a natural ability to love many people. They give them the benefit of the doubt. They don't mind many kinds of personality. They have patience. They have flexibility. And they are naturally extroverted.
I'm more introverted. I can love those close to me though. Though that needs to improve sometimes.

I would have to say that my ability is minimal. One of the main reasons I am saying this is to fly a flag for austistic people who have a deficiency in this area which they can do nothing about. People in forums like You Tube have accused me of being hateful or miserable or such like and I reply that is not the case because I am not subject to feelings. I don't hate anyone because I can't.

About the only thing I hate is people spouting of about this that and the other and it is obvious that they do not have a clue what they are talking about. Perhaps hate is too strong a word. More a case of sighing at people's lack of awareness of what they are saying and how ridiculous it is.

If I can spend an inordinate amount of time studying to get the facts right, why can't other people? Is lazy the word I am looking for?

I'm not sure. I'm pretty empathetic and I see the good in people and generally try to treat people the way I want to be treated. I have a rather cautious personality when it comes to interacting with others. But does that mean I'm acting in love? Sometimes I suppose.

Well I have grown cautious. Especially at work. I've seen too many power games played to fully relax.
At work I think we have to have a polite formal relationship, generally. I tone down the jokes. So I love people by keeping a distance, which may not please some people's criteria for love.
