I don't know about you but I do struggle in my Christian life at times.
I used to look at myself, I examine myself then go down the road of thinking what a miserable sinner I am? When I did that I would think to myself "How can God love me, when will he say enough is enough your out, sorry Bill but you have exasperated my love and now I withdraw that"
I lived that for 27 years of my Christian life, then over a period of two weeks in deep prayer, I said to God we need to do business cause I can't live like this anymore. It was a tough two weeks with a lot of fist shaking from me and tears.
During that period God never responsed with fist shaking at me, with condemnation. He responded gently, but firmly with assurance and love for me.
The following verses are what he revealed he to me and every time I said to him "I don't get it he said to me even if you don't get it accept it, when you start to accept it and walk in it you will get it"
Here goes
John 6:29
Jesus told them, “This is the only work God wants from you: Believe in the one he has sent.”
Romans 10:8-13
In fact, it says, “The message is very close at hand;it is on your lips and in your heart.”
And that message is the very message about faith that we preach: If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.” Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect. They have the same Lord, who gives generously to all who call on him. For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Romans 5:1-2
Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.
John 17:23
I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me.
Hey everybody God loves us as much as he loves Jesus. Even now it brings tears to my eyes, OUR FATHER LOVES YOU HE LOVES ME AS MUCH AS HE LOVES JESUS.
HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD
