How Many Crowns

How many crowns to we get in heaven?
Is it just one crown or many crowns?
Will some of us have more crowns than others?
What kinds of rewards do we get for all our crowns?
Will people have different rewards?
Will some of us with a single crown look at others with multiple crowns and feel inferior?
Will we feel guilty for not doing enough good works to get more crowns?
How many crowns do we get?
What are the rewards?
How does God make it all work?

The incorruptible crown: 1 Cor. 9:24-25 24 Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

The crown of rejoicing: 1 Thess. 2:19-20 For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?20 For ye are our glory and joy.

The crown of life: James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. & Rev. 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

The crown of righteousness: 2 Tim. 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

The crown of glory: 1 Pet. 5:4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

1 John 2:28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

I need help determing if we can receive more than one crown, blessings.

I can't find any mention of someone wearing multiple crowns.
Each time crown is mentioned it is singular.
I feel we will have one crown with multiple facets that will be between each of us and God.
The rewards will be sharing with God all the things we've done for him on earth and he will remind us of many more we don't remember.
I just don't see it any other way.
I welcome your thoughts.

Then how do we know what crown to seek after? I believe we can earn more than one crown. Take a musician for example, they could earn the crown of rejoicing and live a righteous life at the same time, and earn the crown of righteousness.

we dont we are not told to seek after crowns . all we do is cast them at the feet of Jesus.

I'm interested in you saying "the feeling of shame".
Do you have any verses for this?

Certain passages imply the shamedness of losers at the judgment seat of Christ: (2 Tim. 2:15; Phi. 1:20; 1 Jn. 2:28)

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (KJV)

Philippians 1:20 According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death. (KJV)

1 John 2:28And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. (KJV)

What kinds of rewards do we get for all our crowns?

My understanding is that you can exchange a crown for free tickets to the buffet.

LOL. Everyone treats it like a game. First i get told i just need to believe in Jesus and he died for my sins and rose again and im saved. But now i need to gain crowns. The more crowns i have the higher God will reward me. lol.

How many crowns have you got?. Ive only got a saved crown at the moment. Now im going to earn my righteous crown and then im going to go for my rejoice crown.

This reminds me of gaining badges in boy scouts when i was a kid.

I see that you're a Christian beneath your avatar, so why are mocking the five crowns? You sound like an atheist. What is your belief in who Jesus Christ is? Blessings.

I come from a place of non believers and no religion, so for me to find Christ is a good start.

Yes it is a good start, i'm glad you made it to forum. So what is your belief in who Jesus Christ is, if you don't mind me asking. Blessings.

No sir. I am not a atheist. And im not mocking anything either. Maybe its just because i have no idea what the five crowns are because im new to everything. I only just started reading the bible few weeks ago and enjoy watching everyone debate over everything because knowone can come to a firm conclusion on anything.

The way you put it out its like im suppose to gain crowns or something now. I dont know whats right or wrong. Everything too confusing. Because im new of course im going to find things funny and have a million questions.

keep reading your bible . find you a good church with a pastor you can talk to and ask questions

Jesus was a man.

Do you believe that Jesus was the son of God and also God deity?

As time went on he helped people performed miricles.

Do you believe Jesus performed miracles himself when he walked the earth? Where is he getting his power from to perform these miracles? Do you think miracles from Jesus are still being performed today?

So did he rise for the dead and the son of God. That is for each individual in the world to decide. The faith one chooses to believe or to be decieved.

Yes, but what have you decided?

I wasnt there so i dont know about miricles cause i didnt see them for myself

Jesus did in fact perform miracles. You weren't there, but there were many witnesses in the Bible that were there. The power of healing that he received from prayer came from God the Father. Blessings.

Do you think these are actual crowns that go on your head, or do you think this is metaphorical language?

But his wise words did not let him sin and made the devil look like a complete jerk He also made other people look like jerks when they tried to trick him into sin. But Jesus was too wise for these fools and kept his perfect image. Then heaps of other random stuff happened. Long story.

This made me laugh

Please understand, I'm not laughing at you, I found your word choice funny

I didn't reba

Good question, but either way they will be actual crowns, crowns that will not fade away or be burned up. Crowns are made for our head, no? We'll see when we get there. :)

I have to remember that satan can perform miricles as well, and false preachers will also were a cross around there neck and lead the way of "good" but it doesnt mean they are the "truth".

Satan does not perform miracles, what are you even talking about. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Whoever is leading you to Jesus and repentance is doing good works kiwidan.
