How many language or dialect can you speak?

I can speak English- " Good day."
I can speak Tagalog- " Magandang araw"
I can speak my native dialect Visaya - " Maayong adlaw":)

-now how about you guys :)

Revelation 7:9
-After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.

My native is English, and I studied German for four years at high school. I was in a couple of German-speaking countries last year and I remembered enough German to get by.

I speak English fluently "good morning"
Latin is another "Salve"
working on Italian "buon giorno"
and newyorkese "What are You looking at?"

I can speak English. I guess that's one.

Being American, my mother tongue is English.

Being of Hispanic descent, I feel the pressure to learn Spanish in a big way. It is a nice sounding language, and since I'm going to school for nursing, it would probably serve me well. I learned some in high school, and then I took a couple more courses in college, but I still consider myself barely intermediate. Something's just not clicking and I've been meaning to find a way to fill in the gaps.

I'm also interested in learning Arabic and Russian after I get Spanish down.

I speak English (the bastardized American version) (good morning).

I am learning Japanese, started just before Christmas (ohayou gozaimas - おひようございます) .... it's very hard, and my job is getting in the way of studies, but I won't give up. As to WRITING it, I am learning hiragana, then comes katakana then kanji.

Given my terrible pennmanship, I joke that soon, I will be able to write illegibly in two languages and four alaphabets!

English, thats the only language that counts. Thats the language God speaks in ya'know!

;)

Seriously though, i would love to speak and read ancient greek..but i doubt i ever could. Maybe one day I will learn a language :)
