How The Heart Works

Scientists now know that our heart thinks independently of our brain. He does a good job explaining a lot of it.

Yeah I know. I don't agree with some of what he says but he's not a Pastor or speaker but more of the scientist type and a lot of the new findings support a biblical truth and nevertheless does contain some mud at the same time. Even so, I can see new truths coming out in much of what he says.

That they reclassified our heart from being a muscle to an organ because it thinks on its own was especially encouraging.

I don’t see how that is possible, since it’s an organ.


My belief is that the brain is the seat of intellect of the human body.

The mind is the seat of intellect of the soul.

The heart (not physical) is the seat intellect of the human spirit.


The brain controls the functions of the physical body.


Memories and reason are abilities of the human mind, not brain, however the mind does integrate with the brain, just as the heart of the spirit integrates with the mind.


God speaks to the heart, and the heart processes the information to the human mind.



This is just my thoughts on the matter which probably doesn’t scratch the surface of how God has designed us to function.
