And yet Missler himself was completely deceived by the Y2K paranoia and sucked into the Calvary Chapel Rapture vortex and founder Chuck Smith's failed prediction - In his 1978 book End Times, Smith predicted the generation of 1948 would be the last generation, and that the world would end by 1981 at the latest.

Missler 'specialized' in alien encounter deception, face on Mars, Bible Codes, and of course Y2K end of civilization as we know it nonsense. He was completely deceived.
