Pray ......
Study God's Word .... ..

Be involved in a church ..... 2 3 ..

... where you can worship God with other believers .... :guitar :sing



And lastly , stay cool ..... :shades

... avoid being tempted to sin ..... :naughty

... discouraged or led astray by cults .....

Tina gave some good information. I think spending time in prayer really does make a lot of difference. Practice thanksgiving. Listen to good Christian music. Oslo Gospel choir is very inspiring for me. Your mind needs renewing. These things give God a chance to do it. Fellowshipping with strong believers is also a must. We can become very subject to faithless thoughts when we don't have the support of other Christians. Find a good evangelical church. They practice praise...and understand how to enter into His courts with thanksgiving. Sharing the gospel will work wonders for your faith also. Try not to get sidetracked with too many teachers. Find a good pastor, not just a good church, that inspires you. It works a world of wonders. I went to Bible College 1 year after becoming a Christian because my pastor was so inspiring. All of us need some good Christians to look up to. God is first, but they are also his ambassadors to help.

I think we left out a very important, if not the most important aspect to building a relationship with God. Repent!
