How to perform the good that we would, when no good dwells in us? Keep that good thing that was committed to us by the Holy Ghost which dwells in us.

The Lord will give grace and glory, no good thing will be withheld from them that walk uprightly, blessed is the man that trusts in Him.

Surely the Lord scorns the scorners, He gives grace unto the lowly.

The Lord will pour upon the house of David, the Spirit of grace and of supplications.

Where is the way where light dwells, do we know the paths to the house of it ?

The secret things belong unto the Lord our God, but those things that are revealed belong unto us. ( He reveals His secret unto His servants the prophets. Amos 3:7.)

God reveals the deep and secret things, He knows what is in darkness and the light dwells with Him.

Jesus Christ our Lord fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

Deuteronomy 29:29 The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

Psalm 84:11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
12 O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

Proverbs 3:34 Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly.

Zechariah 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

Job 38:19 Where is the way where light dwelleth? and as for darkness, where is the place thereof,
20 That thou shouldest take it to the bound thereof, and that thou shouldest know the paths to the house thereof?
21 Knowest thou it, because thou wast then born? or because the number of thy days is great?

Daniel 2:22 He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.

Matthew 13:35 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

In Christ our Lord was life, and the life was the light of men.

Of His fulness, ( He is the fulness of God) have we all received, and grace for grace. Grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

He that eats His flesh, dwells in Him and he in Him.

The Spirit of truth which the world cannot receive, but the Apostles knew Him, for He dwelled with them and then was in them.

John 1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

John 1:16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.

John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

John 6:56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

John 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

They received grace and Apostleship, for obedience to the faith, for His name.

Where sin abounded, grace did much more abound.

Sin reigned unto death, so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Sin shall not have dominion over us, we are under grace.

It is no more the Apostle that does it, but sin that dwells in him.

For the Apostle knows that in his flesh dwells no good thing, for to will is present, but how to perform that which is good he finds not.

Romans 1:5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:

Romans 5:20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:

Romans 5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Romans 7:17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

Romans 7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.

By the grace of God, the Apostle labours more than all, it was not in vain, the grace of God which was with the Apostle made him what he is.

God is able to make all grace abound towards us, that we having all sufficiency in all things may abound to every good work. ( by grace we find the good that we would do, we can abound to.)

We are the temple of God, the Spirit of God dwells in us, the temple of God is holy, which temple we are. ( not to be defiled.)

The Apostle beseeches us to not receive the grace of God in vain, ( the grace of God is in vain, if we cannot find how to perform the good that we would through the grace of God.)

Now is the day of salvation, the time when the Lord ( through grace) has secured us( to be enabled to do the things that we would through HIs Spirit, not our flesh, which cannot.) giving no offence in any thing to not blame the ministry, ( Christ is not the minister of sin. The ministers of satan are the ministers of sin. Galatians 2:17. 2 Corinthians 11:15.) but in all things the minister of Christ, the Apostle approved himself in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses.

The good thing which was committed to their trust, they keep by the Holy Ghost which dwells in them. ( how to perform that which was good, is found by the good thing committed to their trust, which is kept by the Holy Ghost which dwells in the Apostle, and not sin dwelling in the Apostle instead, in the flesh they cannot find how to perform the good they would, as said in Romans 7:18, but Romans 8:9 answers how they are not in the flesh, BUT IN THE SPIRIT..)

Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

1 Corinthians 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

1 Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

2 Corinthians 6:We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
3 Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:
4 But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,

2 Timothy 1:14 That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us.

How does the love of God dwell in anyone who can shut up their bowels of compassion ? ( sin dwells in them.)

To keep the commandments of the Lord, is dwelling in the Lord, and the Lord dwelling in us, by His Spirit which He has given us. ( they who cannot keep the commandments, to perform the good, are in the flesh, where there is no good, are in sin and have not the Spirit of grace.)

If we love one another ( performing the good that we would) God dwells in us and His love is perfected in us.

We have known and believed the love God has for us, God is love, he that dwells in love dwells in God and God in him. ( not sin dwelling in us and dwelling in hatefulness and not dwelling in love.)

The truth dwells in us, not a lie, the truth shall be with us forever. ( not a lie.)

1 John 3:17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

1 John 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

1 John 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

1 John 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

2 John 1:2 For the truth's sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever.

We see that the flesh lusts against the Spirit. ( to not perform the good we would)

The works of the flesh are envy, and such like which the Apostle told us before, that they which do such hings will not inherit the kingdom of God.

They were foolish disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts, living in envy, hateful, and hating one another.

The spirit in us lusts to envy, ( they who are in the flesh and not in the Spirit) but God gives more grace, ( gives the Spirit of grace and supplications) God resists the proud but gives grace unto the humble, resist the devil and he flees. ( in our flesh dwells no good thing, how to perform the good we would do, we find not.) Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double minded. ( find to do the good, or do not find.)

Be clothed with humility: for God resists the proud, and gives grace to the humble. Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour:, whom resist stedfast in the faith.

Certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. ( turning the grace of God into sin, into vanity, unable to perform the good they say they would.)

Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

Titus 3:3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

James 4:5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

1 Peter 5:5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
