With the exception of a few great moments, it (my summer) pretty much s****d.

Trying to recapture a portion of our summer, yesterday, we launched our boat for the first time (which we have spent almost two years in restoring) with high anticipation of fun and excitment for the family including inner tubing and sking! We launched it at Lexington, which is on Lake Huron, and made it about 5 minutes (just outside the wave barriers) before a machined fitting in the head popped out and we lost a great amount of antifreeze making a mess out of the doghouse and ending our excursion...

As far as what's next? Whatever the Lord wills.

As Sat is forecast fine, I sure lok forward to Hope City Church 'Blitz The City' - 10.30/1.30 - same time next Sat too - to publicise their superb new venue @ Canalside Leisure Club, Vauxhall Rd - just 5 minutes from Queens Square, stand 12, on buses 57 & 130

Then, in the evening, my old pals @ Southport celebrate the official opening of their new http://www.shorelinechurch.co.uk - diagonally opposite Asda, that you see as the train pulls into Southport Station - just a few doors from Southport College, so do expect a lively smattering of students at the celebrations!
