I'm never sure what to write in these new member forums. So I'll keep this short.

I'm in North Dakota, and yup, I had 4 nights away from home this spring because of flooding. But that ain't nothing compared to some folks.

According to the AARP, I'm a senior citizen. Altho I question that. In my mind I'm still in my 20's.

I live just outside a very small town and have been on the volunteer fire department for almost 4 years now. Wow, time goes fast...

And yes, I chose my screen name because I've got COPD and am quickly becoming a wheezer, litterally.

Life finally beat me down enough about 10 years ago that I listened to the right people and turned to God. Now He is a constant in every aspect of my life. And I really, truely give heartfelt thanks to Him for the unbelievably selfless things he has done for me, and for all of us.

:amen Thanks for sharing that, and welcome to the boards :wave

Hey Weezer, I know exactly what you are talking about. According to AARP, I am a senior citizen too, GASP!! THEY ARE WRONG!!! But my friends at work tell me I am a 7 year old living in a 52 year old woman's body. Glad you found us, and hope you stay awhile. :)

Welcome to the Christian Forums. Bad health runs in my family. At around age 60 I was diagnosed with diabetes and other lesser problems. Medications and a better diet keep it all under control.
