Is it true that Protestants beleive that there are 66 truly "inspired" books in the Bible, while the Catholics say there are 73 truly "inspired" books. Why is there this difference?

Well...Protestants don't believe that the books of Malachi, and all the others I can't remember (X /) are just historical and not truly God's word, when Catholics do.
