Alright, so here's the thing, originally I was going to announce this after Memorial Day weekend but I decided that since I finished my mall trip today to announce it now. On June 12th I will be leaving (but I'll still be on here a bit) for,... *drumroll* New Mexico! :woot I will be there for about a week and return home on the nineteenth. :biggrin2 So now that that's out in the open, does anybody else have vacation plans already? :shades

New Mexico? What's in New Mexico? Are you going to skip over and see the Grand Canyon since your so close?

I don't have any solid vacation plans yet. I'm contemplating two weeks in Spokane in July but haven't committed yet. Work has us so busy with deadlines and after the cuts, it just added to our workload.

I'm doing a survival course in the Georgian jungle.... currently trying to have a cup of coffee but the younguns have noticed my activity...if I can bypass the bubba wiring I just might make it to lunch...

I'm into mine at the moment.
So are you going to Carlsbad caverns?
They are a lot of fun.

Actually Idk yet. :shrugEven though I really wanted to go to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter or Walt Disney World, the really good thing about New Mexico is that it has beautiful locations and it doesn't really rain there too much in the summer so it leaves us more time to explore.

I imagine that we will probably be hiking through parks, visiting museums, swimming, and maybe go to the zoo. Our plans for when we're out there are pretty much up in the air for the most part, but I'm also really hoping to go and see the new Aladdin movie for when we're there. :) (even though I realize that you can go to the movies anytime but it looks really good) The only thing that I do know so far (besides the fact that I hope all the snakes and scorpions stay far enough away from me) is that I have an extremely early flight so the day I leave I probably won't be able to leave any updates until I'm there.

That and I don't think I will be able to have WiFi on the airplanes. (I don't have a direct flight) Anyways, when I get back it will be two weeks until Independence Day and then I got the rest of the summer going to ballgames, hopefully seeing the new Lion King movie and Toy Story four, listening to summer concerts, geocaching, Aqua Zumba, and swimming at the beach. :shades

Lol! Look up at my response to JohnDB and I do believe that I just answered your question. I don't think that we're going to see the Grand Canyon this year but maybe sometime in the future though. :wink Oh yeah and also at some point we're going back to Pittsburgh this year since it's so close to Ohio and I would love to do Kennywood again but after an expensive trip like this I'm not sure that I will have the money to. :/
