I like to cook

I (in a former life 30 years ago) used to be a four star/ five diamond chef. I still like to cook.

Today I like making cookies and gingerbread houses and candies.

Sometimes I like to make a nice dinner.

I usually do something for breakfast on the weekends.

And when I make breakfast I would like to receive a simple "Thank you"...

Not all that screaming and yelling about "Who are you?" And "What are you doing in my house" type business.
What are your rates?
Come to my house and surprise my wife and I with a super breakfast.

Well see...
That's the thing these days.
People are offering me a lot of money to come and cook for them. Everything from gingerbread houses to candies. They want to buy cookies and whatever.
BUT
I'm one of those strange guys. I don't cook for money anymore. I do it to express my gratitude for the One who has done so much for me. Same as Electrical work. (Except I have to hold a job)

My payoff is watching the children or others use what I did. I play a small role in getting things started... while the real magic is done by the relationships formed by the principals for which I did what I can do.

I'm not a preacher...but I teach Godly principles. I'm not a missionary but when I travel people get inspired. I find it unique how God uses even the likes of me.

Tonight I've been busy again.

Gingerbread house and gingerbread sleigh.
Then some raspberry star bread.

Had to rewrite the recipe for the bread. I wasn't impressed with what the original recipe said. (I know a lot about yeast breads)
I was kinda shocked at how well it turned out. I still think that it would be better with Danish dough but I made do with what I could make. (No sheeter or gumption to roll out the layers)

You can Google it to see what it looks like.
