Because it is the only time an orthidox willingly speaks to me. It is also a very humbling sight to see and wish more cultures practiced similar events even if they didn't escape genocide while also escaping forced labor.

The first statement is not true, but a fair generalization. Be warned, though, if you happen upon a temp. dwelling and do have questions. They are very knowledgeable and will answer your questions very easily and quickly. If you dare turn the conversation towards the Messiah you may very well be shocked at the response, a very well put together argument regarding Yeshua a fake messiah that couldn't even save himself.

I would suggest for any believer to take the opportunity to absorb this abuse at least once for the sake of understanding how under prepared you are to defend your faith.

Yes, this is why a Christian should understand the OT background and not see it as an "addendum" to understanding his faith, but a foundation. As far as I am concerned, there is really ought to be no difference between Christians and Jews except the Christians believe Jesus to be the Messiah.

Jews are awaiting one yet. Like I always say, if I'm wrong, I'll see the Messiah come when he does come. If they are wrong, they'll still see Messiah since Jesus is coming back a second time. Either way, it'll work out. Not everyone is going to be saved in this age, but perhaps the age to come.

But I do wish that Christians in general would understand the feast days as they are God's blueprint regarding the redemption of mankind and is rich in prophecy. I get so weary of verses such as Romans 14:5-6 and Galatians 4:10 which have nothing to do with feast days getting tossed around to justify remaining ignorant of these set times man was to meet with the Lord. I am not exaggerating by saying those who would sweep these important feasts under the carpet have created a spirituality of their own imagination and do not really grasp the meaning of the bible at all.
