At the risk of sounding stupid, I want to change my font color & size. Could someone explain to me how to do it ?

Type out post. Left-click at the point in your post where you want to start the color change.
Highlight text by dragging you cursor over the desired text.
Click on Font colour button above text box.
It will then look something like this:
[code:ee3ca]Click on Font colour button above text box.[/code]
... and results will look like this:
[color=#BF4000:ee3ca]Click on Font colour button above text box.[/color]
That's it. :D
