i need help with a friend and what to say

ok. so i was just brought up to cue on something my friend heard on the news about the "earth groaning" i guess it happening in a few places and there are videos on youtube. and i watched a few and actually they have happened for a while. but anyways... this is ALLLLLLLL he is talking about, it is almost obsessive. he keeps pointing out verses that talk about the earth groaning and the end times etc etc.

and i am not denying the bible says that etc, i am not denying that it could be the end or the rapture soon, BUT i really think all this time spent focusing on this is not good. and i didnt know if there was anything in the bible that i could use to say..... "yeah but the bible also says this... " i dont know. i hope i explained it ok.

We are not to know when the end time are here, we are just supposed to ready for them. that involves being ready on the inside.

I think it's nice that you're concerned about your friend.
In response to your question, what comes to mind is Luke 17:20-21...

"And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you."

I'd also share how important it is to have the spirit guiding our lives always, but especially during troubled times.
