I Was Thinking

of the technological age in which we live, and how the Apostles would have used it in their witnessing.

The Apostle Paul travelled far and wide. During that time, there were no great ocean liners that we have today, no motor cars....no aircrafts. Yet he was able to preach to many hundreds during his travels

Romans, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians, 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, Titus and Philemon These books were written by Paul. In those there were no paper and pen like we know it today. No computer where one can type and copy and paste. No USB flash drives.

When I look and see how these really were so dilligent in getting the gospel out, I have to ask the question. Are we who in the technological age doing enough. I know there are many videos, websites. In the 1800's missionaries were sent to the various lands. Yet there are many especially in Africa and on the Asian continent that have not yet heard the gospel.

I believe that the Internet came at a time as this for a purpose.

One thing that I feel that is distracting is the way many preachers advertise their "religous ware" their DVDs, tapes etc. on the internet. The gospel is about Jesus., and I believe that many are using Jesus for their profit.
Your thoughts.
