[__ Prayer __] I Would Appreciate a Little Prayer

Hi! I am new here. We are at the end of a WC lawsuit that has been going on for 2 years. It is not for a huge amount and is set to settle before Wednesday at the mediated amount, which would give us enough for a good, used 5th wheel & good, used truck so we could go out to the desert for the winter as the cold is very painful for me. A couple of days ago we found out that the VA might put a lien for the surgery costs on the settlement which would make this impossible. If we would have known earlier, things would have been mediated differently. If you would, please pray His will be that the VA does not wish to put a lien on it. Our attorney said he has never had them do this, ever and nothing may be changed now as it is set for trial on Wednesday morning.

Thank you. I just heard from our attorney and he has been trying to get in touch with the VA to find out if they will waive the lien as they have done for everyone else or give us an amount, but has not had any success. We have to appear Weds. to ask for a 30-day extension.
