Jas 5:16 . . . pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
2 Cor 5:21 For he hath made Him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Dear Brother thesaintman, in Christ Jesus you have access to the throne of grace (Heb 4:16) the same as others. The number of them praying has no more effect than the one in my opinion. For instance, how many have gathered for years praying for the end to abortion? When and if it is repealed in the world, it will be God receiving the glory, and us being rewarded for being in accord with Him. Continue in prayer believing for your friend Hugo.

We are praying for Hugo, whoever he is and whatever is wrong with him.
I agree that God doesn't need 100 people to all type something on an internet thread to convince Him to heal someone so don't get discouraged if that doesn't happen here. (I don't think we even have enough active members to make that happen!) When God heals someone it can be the result of only a few people praying, or only one person praying, or maybe even the prayer of faith of just the person who needs the healing. God doesn't choose to heal everyone, but when he does choose to do so His purpose will be to use the situation to bring great glory to Him in one way or another.
