if evolution says that there was only energy and it created all... well energy is energy no brain.

Matter and energy are the two basic components of the entire Universe.

How energy was converted into matter or how matter come to be, well that's getting too scientific for me to answer. Someone who knows might be able to answer.

I guess that's what you mean by how can have a brain from energy, unless your talking about how can have consciousness from energy.

can you tell me it
You are correct. Evolution has more holes in it than swiss cheese. It makes no sense. For you to believe in evolution you must believe that in the beginning there was nothing. And nothing happened to nothing. Then nothing exploded for no reason. Then nothing turned into everything and it magically organized itself without direction into the universe. It's nonsense and it takes more faith to believe that than I have.

Don't talk about the uncaused first cause with an evolutionist or that you can't have something from nothing. That's why most scientists believe in intelligent design and not evolution. They just refuse to acknowledge who the master designer is.

I'll just stick with "In the beginning God..."

yeah even lawrence krauss admits that.

Amen brother. I have often heard you can tell someones views on the bible by what they believe about the first few chapters of Genesis.

Because it doesn't line up with the physical evidence. That's like asking, well, why do Christians believe that dinosaurs existed when they weren't mentioned in Genesis?

Because of this:

I'm sorry but there isn't a fossil record proving evolution. It's just the opposite. I know you probably won't watch this but Jay Seegert has many many videos on this subject. Here is one of them. It's long but worth the watch if you want to. It's very detailed but he makes it easy to understand. I've seen him a number of times and there is no way I could present this information in here any other way other than this link. Besides I could never do it justice.

I'm more than happy to watch it. I'll get back to you.

Ok. So, the issue I have with the presenter in this video is how he approaches evolution. He's out to attack it. He reminds me a lot of Kent Hovind in this regard. You cannot seriously discuss evolution by comparing a bicycle to a motorcycle. These are things created by humans and they're not alive. He claims that an etcha sketch can't evolve into an iPad. Well, duh.

So far, the theory of evolution is our best attempt at explaining the diversity of life on earth. It's something that we should want to know more about, not something that we should feel threatened by.

Bill Nye has debated Ken Ham on thee topic and I thoroughly enjoyed this one. You can watch it and make up your own mind. Personally, I thought Bill made a more compelling case.

I've seen that and the entire problem with evolution is actually simple. DNA. It doesn't change in the way that the evolutionist want it to. It doesn't change at all. At most it mutates and never in a good way. That mutation is because of sin, because of the fall. That's why I simply don't believe in it. Besides the Bible says In the beginning God created. Well, did He or didn't He? Is God right or is man right? I don't know where you stand on God. I haven't read your posts and I know that this board allows anyone to join irregardless of their beliefs so I'll leave you to ponder those questions.

And the examples he gave were to demonstrate how absurd evolution is. And he did add correctly that no one in their right mind would accept that as you pointed out. Evolution of DNA is just as ridiculous. His entire point is that DNA is so complicated that it's impossible for it to evolve. It is an extremely complicated code. The more we learn about it the more complicated it becomes. They used to think that some DNA was left over and they called it junk DNA. They now realize that the so called junk DNA isn't junk at all but serves a purpose like the rest of the DNA. It's an intelligent creation brought forth by the Master Creator not some random jumble of energy that happened to fall into place.

So I'll take it back to the questions I asked earlier. Did God lie? It's He wrong? Is the Word of God wrong? It's the same attack Satan used in the garden. "Did God really say..."

John 1:1 CSB
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

To doubt His Word is to doubt God Himself.

As I said earlier, I'm not an evolutionary biologist. However, I do trust those that are. The overwhelming majority of them believe that evolution is a fact. The beautiful thing science is that it is always evolving, no pun intended. So what we believe is right today, could be proven wrong with new evidence.

As far the questions you're asking here, the only one that I really give my opinion on is whether or not the bible is wrong. I can't say with 100% certainty that it is wrong. However, I find the Genesis account of creation to be extremely unlikely. If you can produce a talking snake, I'm all ears.
