Was the sky that blue or is that a filter?

I get a blue effect when I photo this often but no where else.

No filter. Perhaps some colour contrasting from software, but not deliberately.
The blue was mostly from the late afternoon/early evening. From memory, just when sun was about to go (I remember waiting for a sunset, but none developed as such). I think a lot is reflection off the water and sky.

I knew it was sunset.
