If You Are Good Looking

God has a way of humbling a person.
What most of the Church Membership doesn't understand is that we are no use to God until we are broken so that God can soften and reshape us into acceptable servants. and as much as we hate slavery, it as God's Servants that we find ever lasting joy.

We are the clay and God is the potter.

Jeremiah 18
1 This is the word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord:
2 “Go down to the potter’s house, and there I will give you my message.”
3 So I went down to the potter’s house, and I saw him working at the wheel.
4 But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him.
5 Then the word of the Lord came to me.
6 He said, “Can I not do with you, Israel, as this potter does?” declares the Lord. “Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand, Israel.

YUP! When I was in my twenties and thirties, on stage and off I had that cocky little prance and my, set every Friday after work, Conway Twitty hair setting, I hated to sleep on, and the girls from fifteen to 60 thought I was so cute! LOL, now, I'm an old man in a wheel chair... life is a blast if we continue to learn.

All of that and my Deeter loves me anyway. She did inform me before she married me there would be no more Hogs in my life and really, Bikes (chopped) are a good thing but she is worth a lot more.
When we got married, I had a 250. My wife said, "Get a bigger bike." I got a 650. Soon she wanted a bigger one. I upped it to a 1200. After a year, she wanted BIGGER. Now I have a 1500, and that is where I'm calling it quits.

I can no longer control a bike but people like you and Chuck Swindol make me jealous. Chuck also still peddles a Hog.
