If you are not a Christian....

Hi there

If you are not a Christian, what would it take for you to come to the full knowledge that Christianity is the only way and only truth?

What would it take to disprove your religion?

If some were to "disprove" your religion, would you convert or still stay in your faith?

Or what would it take to prove to the agnostic/athiest in the existence of God, but not just the existence of God, but also the existence of Jesus Christ as God incarnate?

The same as always, evidence. It can't be more plain than that. The same question can be asked and should be asked of theists. What would it take for you to give up believing in things that have no evidence? After all believing doens't make it true no matter how many times you here the phrase " you must believe".

Virtually all atheists in the west were exposed to Christianity in their youth and walked away after doing the research. Now ask yourself that question. Would you walk away from Christianity if the evidence was so overwhelming that Christianity was no different than the many religions that preceded it?

It would take quite a bit of effort to prove that a God exists and an even bigger effort to prove the God of the bible exists. The bottom line is that you need to show the evidence. Fool me once and it's your fault fool me twice its my fault. In the case of Gods and saviors man has been there and done that many times. I think atheists are quite comfortable in accepting the possibility that a God might in fact exist. Does this mean that they would expect to live forever for following some particular code? I don't think so. If it were determined that a God did exist I also don't think they would expect interjection or a reward for living a certain way and I don't have an ego big enough to expect that the God of he universe is going to alter the laws of nature to accomodate my pleading. (prayer) If there is a heaven it is open to one and all alike.

Rezenwerks, are you willing to gamble with your soul that you are right and Jesus is wrong? If so, on what basis would you be doing this? What have you done that Jesus has not done to show that you are right and he is wrong?

If you are right and I am wrong and the God you worship is a loving God he is not going to condemn my soul for the simple oversight of not believing in that which has no evidence. In my opinion the God you worship has an ego problem. If he exists has his hands full with the rest of mankind let alone the entire universe. I will be slipping in under the cracks. Anyone that really believes they are going to have a one on one audience with the creator of the universe has an ego as big as the God they worship.
