This seemed like a fun question so I figured I would ask. I think I would want to be Mary of Bethany. How awesome would it have been to sit at Jesus' feet?

What about you?

And you know what the Apostles said when they saw the resurrected Jesus?
"Oh my God!"

I think your talking about Thomas who said and confessed something like "My God", after he doubted and Jesus was raised. It's understandable, i am like Thomas sometimes, I want proof and evidence and Jesus must show himself, not just "blessed are those who have not seen and believed".

I feel ripped off sometimes, that's all we get, a blessed is those who has not seen and yet believed. I mean those who seen have hard proof and seen the evidence. I have to go on faith from an event that happened thousands of years ago. See, I'm being a Thomas now.

Show me the money!
Show me the wounds in his hands and feet!

I'm broke in human terms, but Spiritually I am rich, so rich nothing in this world can take it from me.

I am so wealthy I thirst more for the Lord and the more I thirst the more the Lord will pour more fountains of living water in my mouth.

It would have to be Enoch for me. That man had so many adventures and was so interesting that he kind of stands out to me.

Mary Magdalene. I believe she was the thirteenth disciple. This is her role in the Gospel of Mary which was rejected by the first Ecumenical Council. In the gospel there is a scene where Mary comes back from the tomb with the good news and Peter asks her why Jesus gave her information he did not share with the others. He was angry. This gospel is unsubstantiated, but a good read for women who follow Jesus. If I can't be Mary Magdalene then I choose either Mary, the sister of Martha, or the women who poured incense over Jesus's feet. I have long hair like her and I really love Jesus. I can't be Martha because I don't cook.

I've always had great respect for Deborah being a woman and how God used her in a mighty way. I can see myself in her so many ways.

Pretty sure Deborah would be my second choice. Such an awesome woman!

I would also be Mary Magdalene.
