And when you figure out what 'pompatus' means, I'll be your friend forever...and ever! hahahaha

I'm a boy named Sue!

Bet you weren't ready for that!

All i know is that song is now stuck in my mind and it's playing over and over and over.....I dont need "sue" (victor sue) in there too! :smt020

I dont have a clue what pompatus means but apparently neither does anybody else, i think Steve Miller meant to say something else though .......

Hahaha....

We simply cannot talk about unique words in songs without a tip of the cap to the 1954 R&B classic, “The Letter,†by the Medallions.

From its fascinating narrative, we encountered two exquisite words: “Darling, let me whisper sweet words of HISMATALITY, and discuss the PULPITUDES of love.â€Â

In the 1973 hit, “The Joker,†Steve Miller mentions POMPITUS in an attempt to borrow PULPITUDES from the Medallions. Since none of these beauties will be found in the dictionary any time soon, their spellings here are merely my own.
Pretty dern close to "puppetutes" and "pizmotality."
