I've encountered young people, especially, who think that if, in a fit of compulsive silliness, they blurt out "The Holy Spirit is the devil!" or some such thing, they've irretrievably damned themselves to hell.
Hey All,
The fact that you are scared doaWK2992 is proof you haven't committed the final blasphemy. The fear of the Lord is your proof.
Blasphemers do so without care or fear. I did a study on what it means to blaspheme the Holy Spirit. But I will start in on new thread so I don't break the rules.
If you are saved, you cannot commit the unpardonable sin. If you made a mistake, ask for forgiveness, pick up your cross, and keep walking. Concentrate on the straight and narrow and you won't be afraid. (Boy he sure got Biblical.) I hope this helps. May God bless,
Taz
People don't just blurt things out without first having thought about what they said.
You have given too little information for people to know what has happened.
As has been said, Christians ca not blaspheme the Spirit etc, the fact that you are concerned shows you haven't.
So read, learn and practise 1John1:9 .
Also talk to your doctor about whether you suffer from intrusive thoughts.
