I got in! Yes! My old college sent in my transcripts, finally. Now, I'm just waiting on the transfer evaluation. I already had my tech school transcripts evaluated, and I have 18 hours. I'm thinking that I could be 1/2 done with a degree before I even start!

That is great news!! Hey, you did it! Jesus knew you had it in you to become a great counselor. Otherwise He would not have had this happen. Go for it, study hard, learn all you can so you can help all those who are just waiting for you to step into that field. Build it, and they will come.

Awesome! Got a phone call from another very professional, nice person at Liberty. 51 credit hours from my old college + 18 from my tech school= 69 credit hours! Out of 120 for a degree!

It looks like a couple math classes, some Christian classes, and the rest will be my major. Praise God! I get to dive right into the core classes!
 
more excellent news (and thanks, everybody, for the uplifting feedback) : my financial aid went through! Those Liberty U people don't play! A big chunk of my tuition will be covered by a Pell Grant! :-)
 
absolutely! God has done a whole lot for me, for no apparent reason. Its like when I was at Teen Challenge, they always said "We serve the God of yet another chance," and "Grace is unmerited favor." So, yes...God's done, is doing, and I pray will do good things in my life. I keep praying that He'll use my life as yet another example of what Jesus can do with a wretch most of the world soundly rejected.
 
get this...I had enough monies from my financial aid to cover books! Yessss! Liberty U does online vouchers, so some of my aid and loan money is going to the bookstore! God is good! (This will save my parents a GOOD bit of money!).
