My name is Megan and I'm currently 17 years old. My home is a very open one, a place where I can discuss with my parents on serious and light matters. A lot of the time is had to do with politics and religion. Thanks to this I have become to love debates and conflicts, though they can be tiring on both the mind and soul.
I cannot fully say that I am a devout Christian. I do know God is there but things such as social influence from my best friend and the internet has stopped my spiritual growth. Originally I had thought about joining a Christian based forum and I can't exactly remember why I never did. Now just seemed like a good time. Maybe it's the constricted feeling, where I seem to be the only one with a mind set on questions and discussion about these heavy things.
Also, I may be a teenager but I have been raised solely around adults. Being an only child certainly helps with that. My mother tells me that I happen to be more mature in having an open mind, but immature in other things. Just like everyone else in the world. We all continue to grow.
My hope is that I can talk with others who also have a more open mind, though I realize this will not always happen, and to discuss and even debate about opinions.
*Quick Note: This is the first Christian forum in which I have registered for. I'm usually a quick learner so someday I'll get the hang of things.
